Shade pull
thingiverse
This cord pull attaches to the end of a window shade. Thread the cord through the center and secure with a knot. To add extra grip, you can place a small washer above the knot. Smooth out any rough edges by lightly sanding. For ABS prints, treat them to an Acetone vapor bath for 10-15 seconds. Finish with a coat of paint or dip-coating, tailored to your preference. If you're using CNC machining, consider Deskproto to streamline production and cut multiple cord pulls at once. The inner core features two diameters: a larger bottom section to secure the knot, and a smaller top section. This design was created in truSpace and printed on a Form1+ Resin V2 3D printer. The transition from art to finished part takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
