Here is the spun text. I'll just present you with a lampshade, made from a hollowed-out sphere. This isn't built up layer by layer, I'm happy to say. When it's printed, the void will be, well, still pretty empty. You won't need to do any further digging because the shape is already pre-hollowed! One tiny tweak you might make while converting to Gcode would be to stretch out the shape a bit in order to get an egg-like shape. And here it is as it's printing now - I'll post up a photo afterwards. Ah yes, and by the way, it's being printed with phosphorescent ink... pretty darn bright!
