Shadax the Wizard
thingiverse
Shadax the Mage, on his perilous quest to unite and wield the mighty Staff of Demnos in order to vanquish the dark sorcerer Morbius and rescue Princess Eleanor from his evil clutches! Or, if you'd simply prefer a hulking, muscular wizard with bulging biceps in your party, that's perfectly fine too. Apologies to Mark Wilson for deviating from his original vision, but this rendition of Shadax is the one I remember most vividly. This version of Shadax draws inspiration from the iconic box art of the 1990 NES game Solstice, brought to life by the talented Mike Winterbauer. Be sure to follow him on Twitter @MikeWinterbauer for more incredible artwork celebrating classic video games! Shadax is available in both caped and capeless variants, as well as versions where the staff rests against the build plate for easier printing using FDM technology and shorter print times with resin.
