As the food enters the stomach, it undergoes mechanical digestion, being mixed with gastric juices that further break down proteins. The nervous system functions as the control center of the body, sending signals to various parts of the body through electrical impulses. These impulses enable the body to respond to stimuli, such as pain or touch, and allow for voluntary movements like walking or talking.
