Sgt. Scalesby, the Miniature Scaling Dummy

myminifactory

It's Lt. Scalesby, here to assist you in scaling your models for miniature gaming! This isn't a print model per se, but rather a digital file designed to upload into your staging program - I use MakerBot Desktop for this purpose - to ensure your characters, tanks, and giant robots are correctly sized for the scale of game you're printing them for. Scalesby represents a tall 6-foot human, with the scale value reaching up to his eye line, an archaic rule in scaling for wargames due to confusion caused by tall hats. Use a give-or-take approach when scaling your models, especially if they are taller or shorter than the mark. Hopefully, this is helpful! We've set up a Patreon page for anyone interested in supporting us so we can continue creating free and open-sourced games like Pocket-Tactics, Wayfarer Tactics, and others, along with our growing catalog of gaming miniatures that you're free to use however you want! (Psst... we accept requests and commissions...) Enjoy!
