The proposal is for a creation inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's design found in Codex Madrid I f.70.3. The chosen method for 3D printing was Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and the material selected was White Strong & Flexible Plastic from Shapeways. The designer explained that SLS or PolyJet were the only suitable options for their design, and they personally preferred SLS. However, they do not currently have access to an SLS printer, hence the absence of a printed design proof.
