SG92R servo mount for sainsmart 4wd car kit
thingiverse
Human: engineered to sit atop a plate and feed a servo in through its top opening. Zipties, glue, or threaded fasteners hold it securely in place. It fits tightly on the servo, a snug fit that's perfect for this application. I've added a Sticker Saver version that resists tearing off stickers during assembly - except maybe the quality control sticker, which is always a bit of a gamble. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa i3 Rafts: Not Required Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.18mm layer height Infill: 20% Notes: Orientation doesn't matter; it will work fine no matter how you print it. I prefer less support and a shiny side up for maximum visibility. Post-Printing: Assembly is straightforward. This mount is designed to position the servo shaft close to where a standard-sized servo would sit on this kit, so it's only suitable for one orientation (sorry about that). To assemble: feed the servo wire through the center hole, align the servo with the square notch while pushing it down into place - it should fit tightly. You can secure it with small zipties on both ends or a screw on one end opposite the square notch. Since the base fits in the standard servo hole, you could also attach the mount to the frame using a ziptie or match up the 5mm holes for bolts.
