This is a versatile 4WD car platform designed to help students build and develop their own AI vehicle from scratch. It bears a resemblance to Nemo, so I've dubbed it the N9. Design Notes: - Two SG90 servo motors (360-degree) are utilized to provide smooth 4-wheel drive motions. - These servos possess sufficient torque to conquer inclines or carry loads as needed. - A standard mini-IR controller is employed to control basic forward, backward, CW, CCW rotation and LED headlight ON/OFF functions. - The keypad layout of the mini-remote may differ from one model to another, requiring users to re-match the codes accordingly. - Powering the N9 is an Arduino Pro-mini, fueled by a 3.3V Li-poly battery. - The LED headlight can be easily replaced with a standard ultrasonic module. There are countless possible applications waiting for your imagination: - You can swap out the LED for an ultrasonic sensor to create a cutting-edge AI car. - By adding an IR sensor pair, you can transform it into an AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle). - With a third servo, you can turn it into a rugged RC dumb truck. - For something truly unique, add a 3rd servo and a ball launcher to create a high-tech RC basketball robot. - Alternatively, you can build a tank with a robot arm on top or even a train engine with LEGO pins for constructing your own Lego RC.
