I've got this awesome goose neck phone holder mounted in my truck. I designed a custom plate that fits perfectly into the four little tabs on the holder. The plate has a unique U-shape, allowing me to slide my phone holster directly into it with ease and total security. To add an extra feature, I included a loop on one side of the plate where I can store my glasses. Since it prints flat, I used a lighter to heat up the loop and then bent it back at almost a 90-degree angle, giving me the perfect spot for my specs. Revision R1: I made some changes - I moved the glasses loop up to the top of the plate. After heating it with a lighter, I bent it back about 45 degrees, creating a convenient and stylish spot for my sunglasses.
