The MK8 drive gear features a direct-drive Bowden extruder, supporting both 1.75mm and 3mm filament. Simply swap the pneumatic fitting (all M5 fittings are compatible). Two versions are available: MendelMax slides into aluminum extrusions while the standard version fits other printers. The Hotend mounting plate is compatible with standard X carriages and Quick Change X Carriage (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:130881). It's easy to use, change filaments, and offers stability. Print with your preferred settings (60% infill recommended). Use the included plastic rod or a steel/aluminum one for 608zz ball bearing mounting.
