SG-1 Asgard Bilskirnir/Beliskner Battlecruiser 1:9000 Scale
thingiverse
The Bilskirnir, also known as Asgard's mothership or Thor's chariot, served as Supreme Commander Thor's flagship before the O'Neill class was designed. I've based my model on reference photos, schematics, and every available piece of information I could gather, which is surprisingly limited. This has resulted in a design that's not entirely screen accurate but remarkably faithful nonetheless. To enhance durability, I've made the vertical wings adhere to the central body. When printing this model, you have two options: either print it with the guns or separately. Due to their small size, printing them vertically can make them even more prone to breakage than gaming journalists, so I highly recommend printing them separately and horizontally on FDM printers. I've omitted any unnecessary gap between the gun insert, meaning you'll need to carefully trim it down until it fits snugly in place. This also has a bonus: if the guns don't bond properly and snap off during an accident, you can simply print another set and reattach them with ease. This model is scaled according to the specifications outlined at https://forum.gateworld.net/threads/27438-Ship-Scaling-Sprites. Update: I've corrected the normals.
