SFT Direct Drive Extruder
thingiverse
Introducing a straightforward adjustable direct-drive extruder design. This uses a NEMA17 motor's fourth screw hole, where a ball bearing is fitted with a slightly non-concentric lever for pressure control. Two M5 nuts are suitable for Bowden-Tube Push-Fit connectors. A 4x2mm PTFE tube guides the filament path. Flexible/rubber filament can print the extension ring for the bearing. The left part must be printed twice, while an additional frame serves as a spacer between motor and extruder and to secure all four screws in place.
