Update 2022.02.01 - V3.0 of the Rotor Test bench has been released, see my profile for more. This is an upgrade to the original design - see my other models for more info.The primary idea was to increase the power output level to 2kW using a BLDC - Turns out the 600W drill couldn't keep up and was a nightmare to control. This upgrade also simplified the controller side and data collection quite a bit. The higher power level will allow me to test the reliability of the gearing as well as open up the possibility to test larger blades, fun! PS: I also included a simple pitch calibration tool just for fun. Onwards to break some more expensive things!
