SFF Computer Case Opener
prusaprinters
Working with various SFF (small form factor) cases recently, I noticed how hard some side panels are to remove! Either you're risking bending a fingernail back, or bending the side panel itself due to the incredible strength of the snaps used to secure the side panel in place (I'm looking at you Meshroom S!) I made this wedge opening tool, that fits nicely in the hand, and allows you to just press the wedged tip in near the clips to release them. We printed it in the closest colours we had on hand to our brand colours, by using the filament change at height feature in Prusaslicer. Print with a lower layer height to smooth out the wedge part. The one shown in the pictures is printed at 0.15mm layer height in PLA and works quite well.
