SFDA (Spoolholder Filament Dryerbox Adapter) for Prusa MK3S(+)
prusaprinters
This is an adapter to attach 4mm PTFE tubing (e.g. originating from filament dryerboxes) to the stock MK3S+ spoolholder. The adapter still enables using the holder as intended, as the PTFE tubing is not interfering with the spools. The STEP-File is attached for easy remixing.PrintingI printed the SFDA in quite old black Anycubic PLA and also in the default Made for Prusa Galaxy Silver.Because I'm lazy as 'eff, I just printed the part with draft settings, which still worked out good enough and fits my purpose (however, the 0.15mm GCODE is attached as well).InstallationJust clip the adapter to your Prusa MK3S+ spoolholder, but make sure to not clip it to the first segment (from the bottom) of the holder, as this is ever so slightly shallower than the others:After attaching the SFDA, make sure you push the PTFE tubing completely through it and also give it 2-3cm of slack outside as well. You really don't want your filament to scratch against the inside of the adapter and break.😉
