May fit others with 1.5" mounting hole pitch10° grab angle on the shell groupsAdded mounting options and configurationsNew parts work with old mounts, if you have the original you can just upgrade your clips and back stops!! This redesign is to -Make parts Left and Right hand capableAdd more mounting optionsSimplify the old versionLess hardwareLess print time and materialEasier AssemblyCan use almost all the same parts if you want to switch it from strong hand to weak handImprove shell retention and ease of pullretain usability with original version for even more optionsAccommodate longer length shells What you will need - (1) 2x4 Back Plate(2) Clip 1(2) Clip 2(2) End Stop Plug(2) End Stops - Left or Right depending on which side you will use it.(12) Threaded Inserts - Use only M5x5.8x7.1mm insert as longer ones will not work.(8) M5 x 12 screws - I like these flanged button heads (4) M5 x 16 screws - I use the same style for these(1) ELS Fork or Tek-Lok mount Print Notes - This was designed to be printed with PETGDesigned to be printed with 0.6 nozzle and 0.3 layer height and a heavy wall count, mine is 3mm. 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer will work also. You shouldnt need to print with supports. Only the insert holes on the clips would be supported but those dont seem to be necessary. Nothing else would require supportsMake sure your bed adhesion is ON POINT! The back plate will only be as flat if it stays stuck to your print bed. Let it cool before removing from bed to prevent heat soak warping. Assembly Notes -Threaded inserts - Make sure to use the correct inserts and install them as shown in the picture, with the lead in end pointing away from the shells. This is a bit of a pain, but the end result is a much stronger part. Just use a washer and an M5 screw to draw them in on the back side as shown in the picture. You will draw them all the way down to the step in the bottom of the hole.Clips - cut supports between the retention fingers with your hobby knife. When you cut the supports from the middle fingers the big support should fall right off.End Stops and plugs are a pretty tight fit. Once you embed the insert in the plug dont be afraid to give it the beans to seat the plug and end stop all the way.
