SF30/SN30 Pro Thumbstick Replacement

<p>My SF30 Pro thumbstick wore out so i decided to draw up a new one. There are two versions: flat and concave.</p> <p>To make up for the material not having much grip i included a bumpy texture to the stick. I find the concave version works better.</p> <p>Should be printed with supports for the overhang area within the dome, the stick itself shouldn't need any.This should be printed at a low layer height such as 0.1 or smaller to ensure the the dome is smooth. You may also want to sand the dome to get the smoothest surface possible so the stick moves well and doesn't stick.</p> <p>To install you will need a small torx screwdriver, simply remove the screws from the controller. Once inside remove 4 screws to access the thumbsticks, then just slide the old one off and the new one on!</p> <p>Edit 07/07/18: Added a new photo where i have tried printing again with TPU top and PETG bottom to improve grip. It improves grip a bit but still could be better.</p> <p>Edit 14/12/19: Added a version with a spiked front face for grip. I have been using this for a year and would say this is the best version of the ones i have made for grip.</p> Category: Video Games
