I'm new to Fusion 360, a software that's been my go-to tool for creating 3D designs, and also new to 3D printing, which has allowed me to bring those designs to life. Recently, I've been experimenting with this technology by crafting objects like the SF Elite Archery Bow Stand feet, which have become a recurring problem for me over the past few years. Every time they would fall off my bow stand, it was as if they were vanishing into thin air - until now, when I'm left with no spare parts at all. It's been frustrating to deal with this issue, especially since I've been enjoying the process of learning and experimenting with 3D printing. The new feet won't be perfect replicas of the originals, but they fit well and work as intended - they're just not as good as the original ones that were designed specifically for my bow stand. The main goal was to create something that would serve its purpose while also looking better than the square metal ends that came with it. To ensure I don't scratch the floor when shooting indoors, these new feet are a must-have. I've been using PETG filament, which has done the job well despite not being as flexible as the rubbery original feet might have been. A flexible filament might work even better for this application, but PETG was what I had on hand. It took about 40 minutes to print each foot, and while it wasn't a quick process, the end result is worth it - functional, durable, and visually appealing new feet that will help me enjoy my archery hobby without worrying about damaging my equipment or the floor.
