Seyit Conscripted In April 1909 And Joined The Balkan Wars In 1912. After The War Ended, He Wasn't Discharged And Recruited For The Canakkale Forces As A Gunner.\r\n\r\nDuring The 18 March Naval War, One Battery Was Standing At The Mecidiye Forts On The European Side, But Its Shell Crane Was Severely Damaged. Corporal Seyit Demonstrated Unbelievable Strength By Lifting The 275 Kilogram Shell Three Times And Positioning It Into The Battery. This Heroic Act Seriously Damaged The Ocean.\r\n\r\nSeyit Returned Home In 1918 Where He Worked As A Forester And Coal Miner. He Died In 1939 Due To A Serious Lung Disease.\r\nThis Monument, Located Near Kilitbahir Opposite Mecidiye Şehitli, Was Built In Memory Of Seyit Who Returned To His Village. In 1943, Seyit Took The Surname ÇUBUK With The Law Of Surname. He Died Of Pneumonia At Age Fifty In 1939.
