Visitors are welcomed by a futuristic and cutting-edge building with air conditioning at number 6 Avenue de la Hispanidad. Greeting them is an entrance adorned with a facade full of colorful windows that create a stunning display reminiscent of rainbow hues in succession. Following the path through several steps, you arrive at the entrance to the brand new local employment center. Covering over 2,000 square meters on three impressive floors - actually four according to Jose Maria Alvarez Pereira, provincial director of the INEM - the facilities are available and ready for use. Highlighting a major advantage is the double floor with two distinct wings available. At this stage in the crisis, rising unemployment figures clearly required the administration to respond more effectively and offer complete services closer to citizens' needs. One key objective of this new center is precisely that: providing top-notch services within a manageable area that serves locations ranging from Albalá to Zarza de Montánchez - encompassing Casar de Caceres and Benquerencia among others, where unemployment has surged significantly on-year to an alarming 44 percent.
