Sewing Motor Controller Aid

<p>I will present this as a Sewing Machine “Game” Controller Aid, :) as a contest entry.</p><p>The reason for calling it a game controller is because when I was a kid there where no Electronic games. My grandmother came up with an idea to entertain us by using the sewing machine to outline magazine pictures. With no thread in the machine the needle would punch holes in the paper. The pedal controlled the speed of the needle, therefore it acted like the “sewing game controller”. This pedal attachment greatly improves control of the sewing machine.</p><p>I have included a recommended loose fit gcode and a snap fit version of the base gcode. It uses four 6-32, ½" screws and nuts, a piano hinge cut to 76mm, a piece of low friction plastic, felt stick on feet, and a couple of zip straps.</p><p>Loosely tighten the screws and then lay it on it's side on a flat surface, then finish tightening the screws. Add a piece of low friction plastic at the button contact point using double side tape. Use zip straps to hold the controller in place, they don't need to be tight. Add felt feet to the bottom. It is a good idea to add a bit of silicone grease to the button.</p><p>This is one of the most common singer vintage controllers. Users will be very pleased with the ease of use.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
