Sewing Machine Legs for 1975 Brother Pacesetter
thingiverse
This is a set of replacement legs for a vintage Brother PaceSetter sewing machine from 1975. The original legs had broken, and parts were nowhere to be found. I designed these custom legs in Fusion 360 and am sharing them here in case someone else can use them. The main body of the leg set was printed with eSun White ABS (available on Amazon at http://amzn.to/292Ieuf), while the feet were printed with red NinjaFlex (http://amzn.to/28UOaj6). I attached the feet to the legs using Roo Glue (http://amzn.to/28X3Hm1) and they are holding up well so far. Included is a file that combines the feet and legs into one STL, allowing you to print them in a single piece if you prefer not to deal with NinjaFlex. When you click on these links and make a purchase through Amazon, it can result in commissions that help support my work. Print Settings: Printer: MakerFarm Prusa i3v Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Notes: I printed the legs upside down with the open end facing upwards and used a brim to secure them to the bed. This orientation worked best for printing NinjaFlex or similar elastomers, which perform optimally when oriented in this way.
