Sewing Machine Foot Cover

This is a custom cover for the foot of my wife's sewing machine, which tends to reset the needle off-center when starting up. To prevent accidents until she can get the Singer Quantum Stylist repaired, I created this small reminder to adjust the needle before sewing. Using calipers for measurements and OpenSCAD software, I came up with a design that printed flawlessly on its first try. It's not one of my most polished designs since I didn't take the time to implement variables or other features due to its simplicity. As someone who enjoys 3D printing, I've been designing and printing various sewing-related items to justify my hobby. By showing my wife these creations, I'm able to explain that they're more than just toys - they're tools for solving everyday problems.
