I made a plug for my sewer clean-out cover in the driveway because it always gets filled with water and then turns into a dried-up mess that my puppy likes to chew on. Instead of constantly sweeping it out, I wanted to create something that would keep any debris hidden from view. The biggest challenge I faced was determining the correct thread size, which turned out to be 3.00 - 8tpi. I considered adding some texture to the top for extra grip but ultimately decided against it because it would just provide another area for dirt and dust to accumulate, so I kept the surface flat.
