This adapter connects a 50mm European plastic sewer pipe with 608 skate bearings for filament storage. The bearings and pipe are press-fit onto our Thing-O-Matic, with an M8 bolt serving as the axle. However, the current design struggles to hold loose plastic filament, causing it to cut through and fall. Further testing and a larger pipe version are needed for improvement. For assembly, print two coupler parts, insert bearings, fasten with an M8 bolt and nut, then press fit the coupler to the pipe (use glue for stability). Attach side guides made from cardboard and hang above your printer using wire or string.
