Sew-On COVID Cloth Mask Nose Clip
thingiverse
I was searching for a more effective solution to retrofitting cloth masks with some type of nose clip. That's when one that you sew on like a button caught my attention. It works perfectly with masks from Old Navy, for instance. ~~You're welcome to experiment with different sizes and maybe I'll work on that in the future, but **please refrain from making requests**. This is an adult-sized clip, and I have a fairly robust nose. It seems to fit smaller noses well, though, based on my experience. Give it a try and see how it goes. If it doesn't fit great, heat it with a hair dryer or hot water and shape it into a more reasonable form.~~ I added a smaller size for you to try. One trick I used to simplify the sewing process was to tape the clip to the mask first, then sew through the tape. This helps keep it in place and saves your fingers from getting hurt. Also, if you print this with PLA, you probably shouldn't put your mask in the dryer. It will likely melt the clip. I used PETG, but I also intend to wash my masks by hand and air-dry them.
