Severed Hand
thingiverse
A lifeless left hand rests, dependent on external support to grasp. The story behind its creation: a bold decision was made - the left hand was severed (who truly needs these appendages?). A digital model was subsequently created, with consideration given to donating it to science due to insufficient expertise in sewing skills. The thought of reattaching the severed limb without the aid of both hands seems a daunting task. A clever trick is born from this idea: flip the digital model, print in flesh tones, carefully place the artificial hand inside a jacket sleeve, and extend it towards someone unfamiliar as an awkward attempt at making acquaintance... The Ninjaflex enthusiasts are encouraged to give this project a try - their creativity would be a valuable contribution. Sculptris was utilized to create the model, while 123d Design successfully converted it into a compatible STL file format.
