This 3D model was originally created using Sketchup 13 and subsequently converted to all other relevant 3D formats. Its native format is .skp, while the 3ds Max scene was designed in version 2016 and rendered with Vray 3.00. I have worked on this project for approximately a year now, resulting in a significant transformation from its initial state. To evaluate the model's stability, I performed a virtual test, which revealed considerable margins towards shipping standards. As an example, ships are typically required to handle tilting at angles of up to 60 degrees. However, in my analysis, this particular boat exhibited a remarkably stable design that could withstand tilts of approximately 75 degrees before sinking. Regarding its hydrodynamic performance, the water resistance experienced by this boat is surprisingly close to that of a sailboat. Notably, the estimated displacement is around 4.5 tons, and with an initial draft of about 800mm. Who knows? Perhaps one day I'll embark on building this vessel. If anyone else chooses to bring this project to life, please don't hesitate to contact me.
