There were several things that didn't sit well with me about the original storage box. The primary motivation for this redesign was to eliminate all the spacer rings you would have needed to print with the original design. All those extra parts, extra plastic, and the extra time it took to set up or break down the game just weren't necessary. So, first and foremost, I got rid of all the spacers and created shelves for the pieces to slide into. They are all uniform and labeled, except for the ports which have a couple different heights. I printed the pieces as shown in the original post, with one exception: no houses on the brick pieces. The obvious caveat is that this box isn't modular, so you'll need to print the same pieces. I also changed the peg holes because they were too loose. I changed the piece box because we prefer to play the random tileset, which means you need the original game pieces to set up the board. I removed the resource card holder and used that space to hold the original pieces as shown. Everything fits in the original top, and in the same footprint as the original design. In the future, I might come up with a more modular or universal design that would allow for different printed pieces, but for now this will suffice. Small edit: I took a moment and laid out the box halves as they should be printed, rather than printing them upright as I originally designed it. Now everything should print without any issues.
