These are the resource and development cards for the base game of Catan. These are all multi-part step files. The cards are designed to be printed at .1mm layer height. The first layer can be .1mm or .2mm and the total card thickness is .8mm The pictures are close up, and brutally honest. The cards look better in person. The opposing sides of the cards are .3mm thick, and there is a .2mm thick ‘blackout’ layer in the middle so you can't see through them. There is also a border around the middle of the cards so you don't have a stripe around them from the blackout layer. The cards are the size of standard playing cards. The are all designed with 8 colors, or less, with the exception of the monopoly card which has 9. To get more colors, you can swap out while the blackout layers are being printed. The base 4 player version of Catan requires: 19 x each resource (wheat, wool, sheep, stone, and brick) for a total of 95 cards. 14 Knight cards. 5 Victory! Point cards 2 each of the Road Building, Year of Plenty, and Monopoly Cards A total of 120 cards. For the 5-6 player expansion, print an additional: 5 of each resource type 6 Knight 1 each of the Road Building, Year of Plenty, and Monopoly Cards. Suggested printing settings: 4 bottom and top layers. .1 layer height (First Layer can be .2) Wall loops set to 1 will help with the text. Print them with the back of the card on the build surface. For BambuStudio, changing the ‘slice gap closing radius’ from .049 to .05 on a couple of the development cards may be requried to get better text. Lastly, a light sanding of the front face of the card gives a smoother finish. Feedback is welcome. Enjoy!
