We're a brand-new environmental education board game company just starting out with very few followers and entries, so your odds of winning are extremely high. We've custom-designed a Catan set for you while you eagerly await the launch of our own board game. If you don't want to win our game, then here are the files to make your own. Red lines indicate vector cut lines, and black lines indicate raster engraving lines. One thing to note about the board is that it's been sized down to fit better on tables; we're calling it bar-sized, much like a bar-sized pool table. It's quite nice actually, and helps facilitate better gameplay with more room for dice rolling, resource cards, and pieces to sprawl out on the table. Or not, cut out one of our piece holders to organize your pieces, creating even more room on the table. Use our files for the roads and settlements as we've sized those down too, ensuring they fit between the hexes. If you'd like to resize the game to its original size, we provided one of the original hexagons to go off of. Another great part of the bar-sized game is that it easily cuts out of a 24x12 3mm (1/8') board that's standard at craft stores like Joanns and Beverlys. Pro tip: always check for coupons and sales; unfinished wood can typically be bought for half its regular price. Other notes for making one on your laser: Since everyone uses different software and interfaces, we've noticed files need some tweaking. These files were designed in Adobe Illustrator and used on a Boss laser with Corel Draw and RD Works, as well as on an Epilog Laser that uses Adobe, and an Epilog that uses Corel Draw. Each time, small things needed to be tweaked; however, the files included here seem to work well on all of the above, so we hope they're friendly to whatever you're operating on.
