For 2-4 Players: This game requires a total of 312 5mm spherical magnets to create the bases. Specifically, you'll need 12 magnets for each resource tile (there are 19 of these tiles), 4 for each edge water (18 edge waters in total) and 2 for each corner water (6 corner waters). You can safely ignore two of each resource tile and one desert tile. For example, if there are six Sheep resources, you'll only need four of them to complete the base game. The water tiles will be printed in a specific pattern: * Corner Harbor, Corner Water, Harbor1, and Harbor2 appear three times each. * Water appears six times. Moving on to the 5-6 player setup: This requires 460 5mm spherical magnets for the bases. In this case, you'll need 12 magnets for each of the 30 resource tiles, 4 magnets for each of the 22 edge waters and 2 magnets for each of the six corner waters. The water tiles are printed in a slightly different pattern than before: * Corner Harbor, Corner Water, and Harbor2 appear three times each. * Harbor1 appears five times. * Water appears eight times. It's worth noting that this game board is designed to be compatible with other boards and pieces. The corner sections of the board are larger and hexagonal in shape, allowing you to use them with older versions of the game.
