This is a custom drink coaster featuring the Seti@home logo. Seti@home is an incredible program that allows anyone to contribute their computer power (yes, even Android and Raspberry Pi users like me!) towards making groundbreaking calculations for the search of extraterrestrial life. SETI stands for Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence - can you feel the excitement? I certainly do! Not only does Seti@home give us a chance to participate in this extraordinary endeavor, but it's also part of a larger movement called BOINC, which enables numerous projects focused on solving pressing global issues like Cancer and HIV. I'm thrilled to be a volunteer in one such project! I designed and printed this coaster model using a multi-color single extruder setup - it's also possible to print it with just one color if you prefer! To show off your creative skills, please feel free to upload a picture of your printed coaster. This coaster is standard-sized (100 by 100 by 5 mm) and perfectly fits in my favorite coaster holder (check out the link below). I found this design on Wikipedia's page about Seti@home - it's an amazing project that deserves our attention! SETI@home is a public volunteer computing project powered by BOINC, created by the Berkeley SETI Research Center, and hosted by the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley. Its primary goal is to analyze radio signals for signs of extraterrestrial life - it's an incredible initiative that's part of the worldwide SETI effort!
