Sethi3D AiP fan support (design 2)
thingiverse
Fan support for Sethi3D AiP 3D printer, designed by a Brazilian RepRap-based company in Campinas, features a diagonal plate where the fan is screwed. This piece addresses design limitations of its predecessor. The English version thanks an individual who criticized the original design, inspiring improvements using OpenSCAD software. Key features include lightweight construction, less reliance on printer dimensions, greater distance from heated bed, and customization options. However, airflow is less restricted, affecting precision and efficiency. Replaces support triangle in extruder part; separate triangular piece available upon request. Layer height of 0.2mm, 20% infill, and 4 shells are recommended for durability. No automatic support needed, use a knife to remove supports. Extruder's support triangle must be removed before fitting the new part, which should fit perfectly. STL file with default values provided, but adjustments may be necessary based on individual needs or preferences. Be cautious not to extend nozzle too far to avoid touching heated bed.
