Set of wheels for OpenRC Truggy
thingiverse
Different wheels designed to fit the cool OpenRC Truggy from Daniels can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42198 but they also work well on other RC vehicles that use 12mm wheel hex nuts, like you can see in my photos and videos. To find out how to fit these wheels onto RC cars with 17mm hex nuts, please visit this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:970573. It is best to print the wheels without supports. Using six M4x25mm screws per tire worked for me. These wheels were designed on a plane returning from Shanghai as something to do during downtime - I hope you get to try them out! The included STEP files allow users to make changes to the wheels. One of these modifications is removing the tracks so you can use your own, if desired. You should also check out my new and innovative ETPU 95-250 Carbon Black filament at rubber3dprinting.com - this unique UV-stable and flexible filament comes in many different varieties. This filament offers many benefits that may be of interest to designers who are creating custom objects: •The special material makes sure you don't get any stringing or webbing problems during the printing process. •A 95 shore A hardness level, combined with a high concentration of carbon black, results in amazing print quality.
