Set of built-in kitchen scales

Humans work with 9 plates that have hollow spaces for embedding kitchen strips from 1 to 10. Each plate is sized at 15 x 15 x 0.2 cm. A file of rulers is used to measure lengths. To do this job, two identical lengths must be visually identified. In class, this task was offered as an autonomous challenge workshop assignment. Students were given a choice: either use printed rulers in one color and focus on the lengths, or use real measuring tapes and work with numbers (white=1, red=2, etc.).
