Set for creating organic molecules

thingiverse

This set was created for visual demonstrations of the composition of ABS plastic. It turned out in the form of a designer, so you can make other molecules. Let me remind you that ABS is a shock-resistant technical thermoplastic resin based on a copolymer of acrylonitrile with butadiene and styrene. The proportions can vary between: Acrylonitrile 15-35%; Butadiene 5-30%; Styrene 40-60%. Atoms advise you to print the traditional colors of coding: Hydrogen (H) - white; Carbon (C) - dark gray; Nitrogen - blue. To assemble an acrylonitrile molecule, you will need: Carbon atom (C) - 3 pieces. Hydrogen atom (H) - 3 pieces. Nitrogen atom (N) - 1 piece Single bond (C-C) - 1 piece. Single bond (C-H) - 3 pieces. Double bond (C=C) - 1 piece. Triple bond (C=N) - 1 piece To assemble the butadiene molecule, you will need: Carbon atom (C) - 4 pieces. Hydrogen atom (H) - 6 pieces. Single bond (C-C) - 1 piece. Single bond (C-H) - 6 pieces. Double bond (C=C) - 2 pieces. To assemble the larger butadiene molecule, you will need: Carbon atom (C) - 8 pieces. Hydrogen atom (H) - 8 pieces. Single bond (C-C) - 4 pieces. Single bond (C-H) - 8 pieces. Double bond (C=C) - 4 pieces.
