Sestriere - Cappella della Madonna Regina Pacis

As always, I had a thorough surveying of this church in order to submit a lighting design project for Sestriere city, situated near Torino, Italy. My workflow involved shooting approximately 300 pictures with my mirrorless camera (G80), as well as taking around 100 images with my drone and several screenshots from clips. Fortunately, it was a cloudy day, but unfortunately, there were numerous clouds in the sky, given that Sestriere is located at an elevation of 2045 meters above sea level. Consequently, when I flew my DJI Spark, the resulting shots were quite blurry. In Lightroom, I managed to recover a significant amount of darkness and blacks from the images, allowing me to capture the areas beneath the roof. The most challenging part was photographing the sections around the columns and the roof above them, but I captured an abundance of images in this area. I ultimately obtained a 30-million-pixel mesh, which I then locally decimated before decimating it multiple times (around 4-5 times). I highly recommend switching from Final Render to Diffuse to appreciate the raw model.
