Sesame Smart Lock: Compatibility Bracket for Tiny Knobs and Riser Mount

The Sesame Smart Lock seamlessly integrates with most locks featuring a knob. However, when knobs are diminutive and situated in a narrow configuration making it challenging to mount the Sesame Smart Lock even with the included metal compatibility bracket, a solution is required. What about extremely irregular doors? A few minutes of 3D printing effectively resolves this issue! Fortunately, I reside in an apartment where one of these challenges was present, prompting me to design a simple riser for mounting the 3M Command Strips along with the Sesame Smart Lock. Additionally, a customizable knob expander was created using Tinkercad, ensuring minimal give once installed. This ensures that no issues arise as it spins smoothly. The risers are designed at almost the minimum length possible to fit the dimensions of the 3M Command strips. Your Sesame Smart Lock also comes with a metal rising mount. After utilizing this design for six months, zero problems have arisen. Due to varied knob or door configurations, the design is publicly available on Tinkercad for remixing.
