# Sesame 3D Models Here you can find 3D models for Sesame boxes. Initial models were created in SketchUp. Next step was to create them in OpenSCAD for easier modification possibilities. For now, the OpenSCAD version uses STL to draw the Sesame icon and PNG to draw the NFC icon for beacon box. ## Boxes Printing Details To generate STL models from OpenSCAD, look at the end of the .scad file for lines with calls to sesame_box and box_bottom functions. Both are parametrized, making it easy to customize size, wall thickness, and box fitting. The STLs stored in the STL folder contain the latest version of the box with proper fitting and wall thickness already picked. ### Settings This is a list of settings for the latest version of the model stored in the STL folder, which has 1.6mm wall thickness. The wall thickness is important because for 2mm walls it's recommended to use 0.5mm path width - otherwise we get an empty space between outlines and the box is not rigid.
