servo, water valve BECAUSE
thingiverse
I didn't attempt the project yet because all I've done so far is order a servo motor. Before assembling, I suggest making adjustments in Tinkercad by placing glue into the valve thread and securing the nut or using a welder to pin it in place. The toothed wheel has been printed with 100% infill from PETG without any support, while the valve holder also features 100% infill but with added support for stability. To get started, you'll need to download the second sprocket designed for the servo motor from the original file – a 16-gear version. I didn't modify this part because it's not necessary since my author has already used the same type of servo motor. When assembling the valve, make sure it's securely attached and the valve holder is able to pull out the quick-release lug, preventing any potential slipping issues.
