servo valve for 1/4" wells plastic valve
thingiverse
This servo-controlled valve, inspired by mikedeklerk's design, is intended for an aquarium water exchanger project and made from plastic to protect fish. A 2 mm gap between the valve boxes aids fitting. The S3003 servo provides sufficient power for turning the valve, despite initial doubts. However, the valve design may have changed, potentially requiring tweaks to the printed part or valve box/gear redesign. Assembly involves printing and cleaning parts, using long M3 screws with dremeled heads, shorter M3 screws for the servo, and M3 nylock nuts for inset nuts. A larger hole is drilled halfway for the valve gear screw. The newer valve design may lack a screw, necessitating removal of the plastic lever. Type 62 valves can be found at popular hardware stores (PDF reference provided).
