Servo Turret
thingiverse
Construct a mini turret featuring a non-firing plastic stick aiming mechanism. A bright LED may be glued to its end. Assemble this model using two affordable HobbyKing Turnigy 1370A Servos (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__7476__Turnigy_1370A_Servo_3.7g_0.4kg_10sec.html). The base is challenging to print; however, the support structure has been improved for better results. Follow these steps: 1) attach the 'gun' to the upper single-sided horn of the top servo without attaching the horn to the servo, 2) insert the upper servo into the turret and anchor it with a piece of wire through the designated hole, 3) slide the servo-horn/'gun' assembly through the notch and attach it to the upper servo using a screwdriver through the specified hole, 4) ensure the lower double-sided horn on the bottom servo is aligned centrally with the turret and perpendicular to its long axis before inserting the lower servo into the base's slot, passing the wires through their respective holes and exiting from the bottom.
