This is a basic servo mount that you can attach to any standard toggle switch plate. Connect the servo directly to your microcontroller for a fast home automation project. What You Need: - Micro-sized servos, I utilized affordable SG90 9G microservos from online marketplaces - Mounting hardware for both the servo and arm is usually included with the purchase of the servo - A compact Arduino unit EXAMPLE ARDUINO CODE: Ensure that you have the Servo library installed on your board Connect the servo to Pin 9, Ground, and Voltage Output pins When power is applied, it immediately flips the switch to the ON position After five seconds, it switches off, then turns the switch back on at ten-second intervals, followed by a return to the OFF position after fifteen seconds, repeating in this cycle. The interval timing can be modified or expanded as required. POSITIONING Servos naturally return to 60 degrees when at neutral position When switched ON, move towards the full right degree of 100 degrees, and vice versa for OFF at approximately 20 degrees. These parameters may vary based on individual servo settings, so it is recommended that these be altered accordingly. When calibrating the microservo via Arduino programming, make sure its mechanical arm has the ability to range approximately between + or - 40 degrees around this center point in order to engage/disengage toggle switch with reliable and proper sequence
