Servo Prototyping Hardware
thingiverse
While working on assembling an Antenna Tracker, I encountered difficulties handling the servos and needed something to prototype with right away. The result is a set of small, functional "building blocks" that can easily be assembled using 3mm hardware pieces. If anyone finds these components useful for their projects, great! You can access the complete antenna tracker at this URL: https://github.com/KipK/Ghettostation Below are step-by-step instructions on how to use them. I printed all of these blocks in PLA material. To produce a sturdy structure, I set my 3D printer's parameters to print with two perimeters and an infill density of 15%, layer thickness of 0.3mm. Initially, I tried printing with support structures, but soon discovered they weren't necessary. The holes measure 4mm in diameter; however, due to my specific printer settings in Slic3r software, they might come out slightly smaller. Nonetheless, they should be compatible for use with 3mm hardware without needing any drilling or modifications.
