Servo point motor for "wire in tube"

thingiverse

This model railway point motor has been designed for use with wire in tube point control to allow surface mounting of point motors hidden in scenery some distance from the point itself. The prototype is shown in the attached picture. The design is intended for use with the wire in tube supplied by Mercontrol, which uses a 1mm diameter plastic tube with a very fine wire inside. This has been designed for PLA printing. You need to print both the main servo holder and the clip, which will be a tight fix over the hole where the wire in tube exits the main part, and will hold it firmly in place.
