This device is a servo-powered elastic cord release mechanism. It's used to hold the elastic cord in place while setting up an airplane for a bungee launch. The release mechanism is operated by a standard 9g servo motor. To assemble this device, you'll need: * one 9g servo motor * two 2mm x 10mm self-tapping screws * one round metal pull-apart keychain * two small cable ties You can connect your servo to a servo tester to set it up and test its functionality. I use this release mechanism to autonomously launch my flying wing model airplanes. I connect the servo to the airplane via a magnetic connector and receptacle. At launch, the connector breaks loose from the airplane, allowing me to re-prepare and re-prime the bungee release for the next launch.
