The release mechanism is operated by a standard 9g servo. You will need: - one 9g servo - two 2mm x 10mm self-tapping screws - one round metal pull-apart keychain - two small cable ties Connect the servo to a servo tester for setup and testing. The servo operated release mechanism is used to autonomously launch flying wing model aircraft, connected via a magnetic connector and receptacle. At launch, the connector breaks loose from the aircraft, allowing the bungee release to be reprimed and prepared for the next launch. # Remake info: - A new feature added: teeth that work with Turnigy 20 tooth servo, 9g model # TG9e. - The shape of the servo arm was changed to add pressure more gradually. The original design added all pressure at the last few degrees, causing a servo burnout. - The diameter of the screw holes on the body was reduced to 1 mm for mounting the servo. The original hole diameter caused screw stripping issues. - Holes were enlarged on the side to accommodate the new servo arm size. - A hole was added to the top of the main body to attach the servo arm to the servo after assembly.
