Servo mount for (extremely affordable) ball valve, 6.35mm (1/4") variant. A direct coupling is utilized which is press fitted and screwed to the servo, while being press fitted/clamped down on to the ball valve rod. Standard 20Kg metal gear servos with 20x40mm (horizontal plane) housing are employed, along with M5 bolts for clamping/rigidity. Testing has been conducted using PLA and PTFE - both function admirably/ appear more than rigid enough. It is likely that PLA will be utilized for the "production batch" due to its faster print times. The included picture showcases a pneumatic control jig featuring separate servos on inlet and exhaust, a pressure sensor, and the fill/flush line. Inquiring minds may wonder why two servos are used instead of a single servo paired with a multi-port ball valve - the response is straightforward: inexpensive prototyping and the availability of necessary hardware in the junk box.
