Servo Mount
thingiverse
I decided to take on the challenge of designing my own mounting brackets for 9g servos on my model railway, after trying out various options. To install it, you'll need to trim off the pivot side of the bracket and clip it into place. For my HO scale turnouts, I find that using the third hole from the center works best as a pivot point, but this can be adjusted in or out depending on the desired movement. There's space to mount two micro switches, which can be used for powering live frog switches or other features like signals. You'll use the two screws provided with the servo to secure one switch. The pivot is made from a 70mm piece of piano wire that has been bent into an "L" shape at one end to attach to the servo arm.
